Financing Higher Education

Today I learned the three most common Financial Loans, Perkins, Stafford & PLUS. PLUS is for parents to help there children with loans for collage. For college there are 5 steps to enter and leave. You can also make your debt be good debt if you know how to keep it in good standings. Paying back your student loans is when you leave collage, so you don't have to worry about it while your in school.

Credit Score

In our lessons we learned about credit score. Credit score is the average of you credit, depending if you have a good credit score or a bad credit score can either negatively or positively help you in your life. A good credit score can influence a lot of success while a bad credit score can make getting loans and getting somewhere to live a lot harder.

Payment, Interest Rates & Credit Cards

I learned about Payments, Interest Rates and Credit Cards in my current lesson of EverFi. You can use The Rule of 72, to determine how long it will take to fully pay back debts or loans. Credit cards are useful in situations where you don't have the money you need to buy something. A credit card is also used to purchase items online, just make sure to pay the bank back for the money you borrowed with the credit card. Its best to pay it back on time and in full so you don't end up in debt.

Banking & Savings

In my computer class today, we learned about savings and banking. We learned about how savings helps you earn more money over time. Banking can provide someone with a loan, checking, saving or credit to help your needs. Its important to understand what these are used for to then further increase your money or save your money.

Learning Reflection 10/28/13

Last week in my business class I learned about how to write a resume for a job application. We needed different questions on the resume with answers that best fitted our questions. We also learned about different tools that will be used in a resume to make them better for a person. We learned about different to sell yourself for a job. By asking them about your application to make them aware that you indeed want the job. People who just send in an application and never ask the manager after will most likely not get the job. But someone who is always on there case will get the job. Its best to sell yourself for something you want.

Learning Reflection 10/18

In these last few weeks I have learned much from my class. I learned how to use Microsoft word better then before. I have been learning to type faster, my best  is 45 WPS (words per second). I have had a lot of fun in this class since I really enjoy computers already and hope to maybe make this into a career in my near future. The skills I am learning are really useful. My friend was typing a essay with Microsoft word and I helped him figure out better ways to make it look even better. I cant wait to take a animation class in my senior year. I would love to make animations like the ones you see in videos or on TV. I think that it would be hard but really fun to do. I am hoping to get a really good grade by the end of the year and it seems I am on the right path. Hope to make this class really count!
